Post-Match Press Conference:

Graeme Jones fielded several questions about yesterday’s win over Sunderland. A journalist from Sky Sports News chose the main focal point for the conference, asking: “Gary Caldwell picked up the player of the match award for your side today. How did you rate his performance?” Jones replied calmly, saying: “Gary had a good solid game and I expect to see more of the same.” Assistant Manager Graeme Jones had been asked to attend the press conference in place of manager GS.

Hannover’s Lubos HANZEL has issued a profound ‘come and get me’ plea to Wigan boss GS. The left-back revealed that his current predicament has left him feeling out in the cold of late and all he wants to do is get back to playing football in a new environment. Hanzel is unlikely to be a Hannover player much longer with some reports linking the player to a move to Premier League surprise package Wigan Athletic.

Mike POLLITT (GK) and Danny REDMOND (RM) moved to Reserve Squad from Senior Squad.

Chief Scout Kevin Reeves believes that Lubos HANZEL would be extremely interested in joining our club. Hanzel would probably be available for between £900k and £1.3m. Reeves believes that Hanzel would be a fairly good signing (50%), and that he would be a leading star for most Championship sides, but doesn’t think his ability is likely to improve in the future. Player removed from shortlist.
