  • The Signal Iduna Park pitch has been relaid, prepared and marked ahead of the new season. In line with UEFA’s Champions League regulations for maximum dimensions, the pitch will measure 114 x 79 yards for the 2013-14 season.
  • Borussia Dortmund have announced that 46,329 season tickets have been sold ahead of the Bundesliga home opener on 01 September against Fürth. The club expects another 100 or so sales to take the final total to approximately 46,400 for the season.
  • hubnerFC Rot-Weiss Erfurt of the 3-Fussball Liga have made an offer to take 22 year-old Florian Hübner (right) on loan for the season as a first team regular at right back. The club have accepted the proposal without any conditions attached.

Transfer News:

Benfica have completed the signing of Ademilson from Sao Paulo for a fee of £5.25m. The 19 year-old striker, currently with the Brazil squad ahead of the FIFA U20 World Cup which starts in Turkey next week, has scored 36 goals in 77 appearances for Sao Paulo over the last two season, plus a staggering 15 in 20 appearances for Brazil U20s.
