BVB’s Under-19s are still looking for their first win of the U19 Bundesliga season in Group 3. against SC Preußen Münster, going down 1-0. A competent performance was undone by a slip at the back by Ole Bongard who let Iliya Tilev get past him and fire in the only goal of the game a minute before half time.
Josef Bungert, who had an off-target day up front, scored a low 15 yard drive on 53 minutes but play was pulled back for a questionable foul against a Münster defender. The defeat leaves BVB in 13th, just a solitary place above Meppen who’ve lost 4 from 4.
The Under-19s are back in action on Wednesday with a friendly at Halberstadt.
