Assistant Manager Zeljko Buvac delivered the monthly training report. Roman Weidenfeller and Mats Hummels (both tactics) have both impressed the coaching staff, though there were some concerns over the fitness of Marco Reus and Kostas Katsouranis.
Among the youth players, Josef Bungert (tactics), and Osmal Varol (fitness) have shone brightest. Josef Odenthal (tactics) raised mild concern however. Michael Kraft particularly singled out Ogün Gümüstas’s improvement over the last four months as a footballer and wanted the senior management to be aware of how impressed he is.
