Jakub Blaszczykowski has been recalled from his loan spell at Lille, where he has been for the duration of the season so far. The 28 year-old Polish international made 18 apps for Lille, earning an average match rating of 6.66 in the campaign which sees them 4th in the French top flight.
He scored the opening goal in their 3-1 win at Valenciennes back in August, but hadn’t found the back of the net since then. Blaszczykowski will wear squad number #30 back at Dortmund and has been registered for the rest of the Bundesliga season.
The club have also green-lit proposals from six clubs in 2-Bundesliga to take young striker Said Benkarit on loan for the rest of the season. Aue, Braunschweig, Cottbus, Dresden, Sandhausen, and Union Berlin all had 0% wage contribution offers accepted.
All clubs, bar BVB’s feeder club Sandhausen, indicated that Benkarit would act as cover for the first team, while Sandhausen feel he’d be a valuable first team member.
