Bayern Munich are up to 3rd after they sentenced Hannover to an eighth game without a win, running out 4-0 winners at the Allianz-Arena, whilst Bayer Leverkusen were well-beaten at Wolfsburg.

Schalke went level with Dortmund at the top of the table for 48 hours until Dortmund came from behind to win 3-2 at Fürth. The league’s worst defence by some way – having conceded 55 goals in 17 matches – Bochum found themselves four-goals down at home to Hamburg before half-time.
