The top two both won over the weekend, with Dortmund and Schalke beating Stuttgart and Köln respectively, but Bayern Munich lost points on them by being held to a goalless draw at Hamburg on Saturday evening.

All of the bottom seven lost, giving Düsseldorf the chance to open up an 11-point safety gap above the bottom three, which they gladly took with a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg. Elsewhere, Bochum have now conceded a staggering 67 goals in twenty league matches this season, after shipping five at Freiburg.
