Bundesliga Results: 2nd-4th May 2014

bundesliga-RESULTS-540

All eyes were at the Allianz-Arena yesterday where Borussia Dortmund beat Bayern Munich 1-0 to reclaim the Bundesliga title, their third title in four years, and a first trophy for manager Gray Surman. With two matches left of the season (three for Bayern), BVB are ten clear at the top.

Behind the top two, Mainz and Schalke were both involved in 2-2 draws, with Leverkusen’s 3-0 win at Bochum meaning that the race for Champions League spots will go down to the wire. At the other end, Fürth came away from Werder Bremen with a hard-earned 1-0 win that keeps alive their hopes of avoiding the drop.
