Fischer Strike Earns Narrow Reserves Win

fischerViktor Fischer scored the only goal in a one-sided victory over Kaiserslautern II for Dortmund’s Reserve side this morning. The decisive moment came five minutes after the interval when Moritz Leitner squared for Fischer on the edge of the area, who found the bottom corner.

Despite significant pressure, BVB weren’t able to increase the lead and were let off the hook somewhat when the visitors had an equaliser disallowed for a debatable foul in the build-up.

BVB II put out a strong starting line-up, with Langerak, Koch, Sobiech, Santana and Taiwo at the back, Praet, Großkreutz, Leitner and Blaszczykowski across the middle, with Fischer and Ginczek upfront.
