BVB’s academy side got their pre-season preparations for the new season under way on a winning note, coming from behind to win 2-1 at FC Nürnberg this morning. Looking far fitter than their opponents, they turned-around a first-half deficit to win it in the last ten minutes.
Enes Sabic made his début for the side at centre-back and was extremely unfortunate to get the final touch on a shot from Domanski to divert the ball past his own ‘keeper five minutes before the break.
On the hour mark, Saeid Hosaini drilled a volley past Schulze for an equaliser from 12 yards out as he met Seufert’s cross powerfully with his left foot. Supplier turned scorer on 80 minutes when Gümüstas’s shot was saved and Tobias Seufert slotted home the loose ball.
