Werder Bremen 2-0 BVB (U19s Friendly)

BVB U19s suffered their first two-goal defeat in over a year, with a 0-2 loss at Werder Bremen this morning, likely revenge for the 5-1 mauling Dortmund dished out here at Stadion Platz 11 last season.

Dortmund matched their opponents throughout, but it was a pair of fine Melvin Rufaiglu strikes that proved the difference. The goals came in the opening ten minutes of either half, with BVB looking slow out the blocks.

It was a day of double-celebration for Werder Bremen, as their striker Jürgen Weiler scored the winning goal for Germany in the UEFA U19 Final a little earlier today.
