Ninety-four goals rattled the back of the net as 32 clubs booked their place in the UEFA Europa League Group Stage with tonight’s Playoff Second Leg ties taking place across the continent. Seven were scored in a thriller in Serbia as Girondins Bordeaux came from behind to win 4-3 and beat Red Star Belgrade 7-4 on aggregate.

Ten man Videoton Fehérvár were one of three sides to progress via penalties as they survived at Sparta Prague and held their nerve to knock their Czech hosts out from twelve yards. Three were sent off as Lokomotiv Moscow and Rosenborg clashed in Russia, with the visitors wining 5-4 on penalties after both legs finished one-each.

Elsewhere, Samuele Longo scored a hat-trick as Inter Milan beat Metalurg Donetsk 3-1 at home to secure a 5-1 aggregate victory. CSKA Moscow, PSV Eindhoven, Spartak Moscow, and Dynamo Kyiv are all safely through, as are German sides Düsseldorf and Mönchengladbach, though Bochum crashed out at Aston Villa.

The Group Stage draw will be made by UEFA tomorrow.
