Champions League: Matchday 4 (A-D)

Three sides have booked their place in the last sixteen of the UEFA Champions League tonight by maintaining their unbeaten record in the Group Stage on matchday four.

Chelsea’s three-nil win at Anderlecht sealed their progress to the knockout stage with their fourth win in four, and Benfica will join them after their second win over Real Madrid in the competition. Last year’s surprise package Fenerbahçe beat Bayern Munich at home to stay undefeated and become the third club in the hat.

Dinamo Zagreb, Metalist, and Villareal all lost tonight as they struggle to pick-up their first points in the competition. Tomorrow night the highlights include holders Dortmund hosting Legia Warsaw, PSG playing Manchester United, and Juventus travelling to Barcelona.

Julien Aubert’s goal for Lyon made him the youngest scorer in the competition, just 58 days shy of his 17th birthday.
