BVB’s youngsters strolled to a 3-1 win over second-placed FC Köln at Stadion Rote Erde in Junioren-Bundesliga Group 3 this morning. Dirk Bauer smashed home from close range after the visitors didn’t clear a corner, before an Ibro Beslija penalty doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time.
Ogün Gümüstas made it three-nil shortly after the break and Dortmund’s best player on the park could have added to his tally, before Giovanni Mancosu slotted home after chasing a long-ball for Köln inside the final fifteen minutes.
Dortmund stay fifth in the table, three points behind Aachen in second, and six points back of leaders Leverkusen. They’re back in action on Wednesday night hosting 4th-place Duisburg.
