D³: Sigurðsson Interest; Dudziak; McGeady

DAILY DIARY, Tuesday 06 January 2015:

Gray Surman and the BVB management have denied their reported interest in Tottenham midfielder Gylfi Sigurðsson, despite being linked with the 25 year-old in recent days. The Icelandic international has been a bit-part player for Spurs since his £8m move from Swansea three seasons ago, making just 26 appearances.

Dortmund have accepted a loan offer from FC Ingolstadt to take Jeremy Dudziak for the rest of the season. The 18 year-old midfielder, who won his first cap for Tunisia U20 last year, has appeared in nearly all of Dortmund U19’s fixtures this season, but senior management see this as a good opportunity for him to experience first team football in 2.Bundesliga.

Aiden McGeady has joined Chelsea in a £10m transfer, just two years after he joined Manchester United from Spartak Moscow for £23m. The Irish international made just 21 appearances at Old Trafford, scoring five goals. McGeady is likely to slot straight into the Chelsea side as Hatim Ben Arfa is out with a hamstring injury.
