BREAKING NEWS, MONDAY 19 JANUARY 2015:
Montpellier have announced that they have agreed a deal with Belgian champions RSC Anderlecht for the services of manager John van den Brom, who ruffled feathers ten days ago when he admitted that he’d be interested in the Stade de la Mosson. vacancy.
Van den Brom leaves Anderlecht after 38 months in charge which saw them win consecutive titles in each of the last three seasons, and domestic doubles in 2013 and 2014, moving to a Montpellier side eleventh in Ligue Un.
Names amongst the favourites to take over include Gertjan Verbeek, Francky Dury, and Robert Maaskant, but some eyes are looking towards Borussia Dortmund manager Grayson Surman who is known to be very fond of the Brussels club.
