Mario Balotelli has left after five years in England, signing for Paris Saint-Germain in a £12.5m deal, half of what Manchester City paid Inter Milan for him back in 2010. After scoring just one goal in 31 Premier League appearances in the 2013-14 season, the 24 year-old Italian international played a sole game for the runners-up last season.
Another large deal going through today is the capture of striker Abel Hernández for £10m by Chelsea. The Uruguyan frontman had spent seven years at Palermo, scoring 58 goals in Serie A in that time.
Club Brugge have announced that manager George Leekens has decided to step-down and retire from professional football. The 66 year-old had been there for three years.
