Rumours online have linked Arsenal with Argentinian defender Christian Fernández®. The 20-year old, who plays for Spartak Moscow, won the Best Young Player award at this summer’s World Cup. It’s widely believed that Arsenal are looking to add a defender.
Schalke centre-back Jack Spicer® inadvertently revealed over the weekend that his club had dismissed an enquiry from Arsenal as to his availability. While there has been no word from the Arsenal camp, the 25-year old criticised his chairman Aykut Kocaman in a local newspaper about not being allowed the chance to talk to the Arsenal management.
